Everyone is welcome in our space.

Most questions can be answered by reading our list of frequently asked questions and etiquette. Please read carefully before sending us an email as we do not reply to emails regarding questions that are covered here. If your inquiry is not addressed please email us, we will get back to you within 24 hours. Thank you.

  • We are open 15 minutes prior to class times. 
  • Our door is locked promptly at the start of class and is not opened again until class is finished, late entry is not permitted. Refunds will not be issued for late arrivals.
  • If you are new to our studio, we advise familiarizing yourself with our location before you come for class.
  • Registration is required for our classes, we are unable to guarantee space for students not registered.
  • We do not provide yoga mats, props or pillows, please bring everything you need for practice.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Students who do not cancel two hours before class will be charged for the visit. Charge is one class from any of our class passes, and for unlimited members, a fee of $18.61 will be charged to your credit card on file.

Arriving at Studio Sat Nam
Our studio is open 15 minutes prior to class times. We encourage you to arrive 15 minutes before class begins.  This allows plenty of time for us to check you in and for you to prepare for your practice. Arriving at the last minute does not contribute to a good experience for you or the people around you. For these reasons, we do not allow late arrivals. 

What to Bring
We do not provide mats or pillows. Please bring everything that you need for practice.

Shoes & Personal Belongings 
Please remove your shoes upon entering the studio, do your best to keep wet footwear on the mats. There are shoe racks located at the entrance and a coat room to store your personal belongings. Please do not bring jackets and bags into the studio space.

Peacefulness
Many people enjoy the silence in the space before class begins, please lower your voice in the practice space. If you wish to chat with fellow yogis, please do so in the reception area. 

Beverages and Food
Aside from your water bottle, kindly refrain from bringing any food and/or beverages into the studio.

Cell Phones
Please ensure your cell phone is turned off  (please also disable vibrate) when you are in the studio.

Scent Sensitivity 
Please be mindful of personal hygiene and scented products when attending class.

Dress Code
Please be modest. Men, kindly note that shirts are always required.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q – I bought a pass but it’s not showing up and I can’t register for class, what should I do?
A – Some transactions are not processed immediately.  You will receive an email when your payment has been processed. You will then be able to register for class.

Q – I am new to Kundalini Yoga, is there a beginner class?
A  – All of our classes are suitable for beginners, you are welcome to join us anytime.

Q – I am having a Kundalini Experience, will coming to class help me? Can I talk to someone?
A – The best way to manage the flow of energy is to practice regularly. We do not offer counselling services or book private appointments.

Q – Are your classes drop-in?
A – Registration is required for all of our classes.

Q – How much is a class?
A – We have several different types of passes available. Please click the Passes and Rates tab on the menu bar for more information.

Q – When are your classes?
A – Our class times can be found on the schedule tab.

Q – How do I sign up for class?
A – From the schedule tab, click register under the class you wish to attend.

Q – Where are you located and where should I park?
A  – Please visit the Location/Contact tab for our location and parking options.

Q – Do I have to bring my own mat?
A  – We do not provide any props or mats. Please bring everything you need for practice.

Q  – What should I wear? Do I have to wear white?
A –  Wearing is not required, come dressed in comfortable clothes that you can exercise in.

Q – Can I purchase a single class pass and then have the $20 deducted from the $69 intro offer if I like it?
A – No, we are not able to offer any discounts on the intro offer.

Q – I would like to purchase a class pass but I am going on holiday, can you extend the expiry date?
A – We are not able to provide extensions or holds on passes. We suggest purchasing a drop-in pass which is valid for one year. All of our passes are non-refundable.

Q – I signed up for class and now I can’t attend, what do I do?
A – From our website, sign in and deregister.

Q –  If I’m running late can I still come to class?
A – We do not allow late arrivals as it is distracting to the teacher and the students who have arrived on time.

Q – Is it safe to practice Kundalini Yoga during pregnancy?
A – Yes.

Q – I’ve heard Kundalini Yoga is mostly meditation, is there movement too?
A – Kundalini Yoga is a balanced style of yoga, incorporating postures, chanting, breathwork and meditation.
